As AI is rapidly reshaping weather and climate forecasting, this seminar will shine a spotlight on the ethical questions that come with these powerful new approaches. Drawing on experiences from the European Union’s Destination Earth (DestinE) initiative, the event will highlight ongoing efforts to define clear, responsible and value-driven frameworks for the use of AI beyond traditional physical models.
The session will feature expert presentations and interactive discussions on emerging ideas and draft best-practice guidelines, with a strong focus on AI literacy and responsible innovation.
