The two sessions will provide insights into the work on this Machine LearningField of statistical research focused on training computatio More (ML) Demonstrator, showcasing how AI can enhance high-resolution weather information by combining forecasts from multiple numerical models. The sessions are designed for technical and operational users across different sectors who are interested in exploring the practical benefits of the approach, which is based on SynCast. Participants will learn about the SynCast concept and architecture, how it leverages weather forecasting and observational data, and gain hands-on experience through example notebooks.
Morning session (4 November, 9:30-11:00 CET):
Presentation on the concept and technical framework of Syncast.
Afternoon session (4 November, 14:30-16:00 CET):
Interactive hands-on session with example notebooks and in-depth discussion.
