Apply for funding and bring your advanced service to the DestinE Platform
Destination Earth (DestinE) is looking for mature, ready-to-use advanced applications and services to be onboarded and operated on the DestinE Platform. The open call runs until 4 May at 6:00 PM CET.
The competition targets service providers able to deliver services with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) at, or close to, 8. At this stage, the call is prioritising services that relate to urbanism and smart cities, such as those related to urban heat-stress, floods or urban planning. These are illustrative examples only; this prioritisation is non-exclusive, and services from other sectors may also be selected.
Selected services are expected to use DestinE PlatformSelf-standing DestinE system component, interfacing with the More capabilities, including access to climate digital twin data and core platform services.
Participants will receive funding to support activities related to making their services more attractive to users, project management, onboarding, and initial operation on the platform. Selected service providers will be contracted directly by Atos.

By joining the DestinE PlatformSelf-standing DestinE system component, interfacing with the More, providers gain access to advanced data and tools, enabling them to enhance their services and reach new markets. Contributing to DestinE also means playing an active role in Europe’s digital and green transition, helping shape the future of climate science while growing your business.

Previous calls
This isn’t the first time the DestinE PlatformSelf-standing DestinE system component, interfacing with the More funds the onboarding of new services. In 2024, ESAEuropean Space Agency, in collaboration with Atos, launched an open competition to expand the DestinE ecosystem. As a result, twelve service providers were selected to deliver advanced applications and services on the DestinE PlatformSelf-standing DestinE system component, interfacing with the More.
