Deadline Extended for the DestinE Strategic Advisory Board Call for Experts

The European Commission call for independent experts for the Strategic Advisory Board (SAB) of Destination Earth deadline has been extended to 14 March 2025.

The group will be composed of approximately 15 European high-level technical and scientific experts that will advise the Commission on strategic matters related to both the technological and scientific areas of development for the next two years.

The activities of the Board include:

1. Provide advice and expertise to DG CONNECT regarding the strategic direction and further development of the Destination Earth initiative;
2. Connect with existing scientific and technological initiatives and advise DG CONNECT on the state of the art in the relevant fields;
3. Foster exchanges of experience and highlight good practices in the fields that are critical to the initiative’s implementation referred to above.
