Report DestinE in Vienna

The post-event report from the 4th DestinE User eXchange is now available, bringing together key insights and user perspectives shared last June, in Vienna.

The two-day event focused on the fast-evolving landscape of Destination Earth (DestinE). ECMWF, ESA and EUMETSAT updated the community on the Digital Twins, the DestinE Platform and the Data Lake. Invited speakers demonstrated how they were using DestinE within their work in areas such as climate adaptation, extreme events, energy planning and urban resilience.

With over 3,000 users at the time of the meeting (now more than 5,000), the User eXchange offered a snapshot of how the community is engaging with the DestinE Platform and with DestinE more broadly.

Now, the report consolidates all presentations, panel discussions and demonstrations in one place, alongside links to session recordings. It also includes a summary of user feedback shared during the event, highlighting priorities such as accessibility, clear data pathways and support for operational uptake across sectors.

Explore the full report and access all materials from the 4th DestinE User eXchange to revisit the discussions, discover ongoing developments and stay connected with the growing DestinE community.
