ESA DTE Digital Twin Components (DTCs)
ESA aims to develop and demonstrate, to a pre-operational level, a set of EO-based Digital Twin Components (DTCs) as advanced digital replicas of key components of the Earth system including their interactions with human activities and ecosystems. DTCs shall be designed to serve a wide variety of users and provide advanced scientific and decision support tools with a strong focus on valorising the role of EO capabilities.

HORIZON-INFRA-2024-TECH-01-04: New digital twins for Destination Earth
As part of the build-up of Destination Earth, continuous preparatory scientific and technical developments need to be carried out to ensure integration of new digital twins, covering new areas, into the Destination Earth digital twin framework. The aim is to develop new digital twin infrastructures that the core simulation, data fusion and supporting software infrastructures for high-performance computing and data handling can be seamlessly integrated with the Destination Earth platform components.

HORIZON-INFRA-2024-TECH-01-05: AR/VR-empowered digital twins for modelling complex phenomena in new RI application areas
The aim of this procurement is to deliver digital twin solutions which advance the state-of-art of European RIs and show transformative potential in RI operations. The solutions should pave way for new ways to conduct experiments by the RIs through AR/VR (augmented reality/virtual reality) empowered digital twins.

ESA EO DATA SPACE HIGHWAY
In the frame of the ESA Digital Twin Earth, the subject of this procurement covers the ESA DTE High Performance Earth Observation Digital Twin Components Ready Data (referred to as "HIGHWAY"), which will offer ESA Earth Explorer data access and services for seamless ingestion into Digital Twins and for exploitation by DestinE users within the DestinE core Service Platform.
