    Submission Guidelines

    Thank you for your interest in contributing to the joint DestinE website. To ensure a smooth and efficient process, please follow these guidelines for submitting your news or event details: 

    1. Initial Submission:
      • Webform Completion: Begin by filling out the submission webform on our website. Provide detailed information about your news, event or relevant job offer, including the title, description of the event/article draft text/job offer text, relevant dates, and any other pertinent details.
      • Attachments and Supporting Documents: If applicable, attach any supporting documents, images, or links that provide additional context or information.
    2. Liaison with the Author:
      • Initial Review: Once your submission is received, our team will conduct an initial review to ensure it aligns with our content criteria and themes.
      • Author Communication: If your submission is a good fit, a member of our team will reach out to you directly. This communication may involve clarifying details, discussing the focus of your content, and gathering any additional information needed.
    3. Editing and Approval:
      • Content Editing: Your submission may be edited for clarity, coherence, and alignment with our editorial standards. This may include language, structure, and factual verification.
      • Author Review: After editing, the revised content will be sent back to you for review. You will have the opportunity to provide feedback and make any necessary final adjustments.
    4. Editorial Process:
      • Final Approval: Once you approve the edited version, it will be sent through our existing editorial process for final approval. The existing editorial process involves the review of all content by our editorial board which includes representatives from the three Entrusted Entities as well as the European Commission.
      • Publication: After final approval, your content will be scheduled for publication on our platform. We will inform you of the indicative publication date and provide you with a link to the published material.

    Submission Tips: 

    • Relevance: Ensure your content is relevant to the Destination Earth initiative and the DestinE community. 
    • Clarity: Be clear and concise (max 1000 words). Clearly outline the main points and objectives. 
    • Originality: If your content has already been published elsewhere, please provide a link to the original.
