This new DestinE animation series follows the adventures of a science filmmaker, Rosa, while she explores DestinE’s unique features, uncovering more about the Digital Twins and the Digital Twin Engine that ECMWF implements together with over 90 partner institutions across Europe.

This first episode introduces the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in DestinE, as ECMWF and its partners are working on various initiatives to integrate machine learning advancements to enhance DestinE’s capabilities across multiple areas. More specifically, it focuses on how these AI developments can support the quantification of uncertainty in the Digital Twins’ high-resolution simulations.
